Vehicle navigation system effectively combines vehicle manufacturing, service control and transportation, thus becoming a comprehensive transportation system that can improve efficiency, improve environment, ensure safety and save energy. In this paper, a map matching algorithm for vehicle navigation system based on remote sensing image processing is proposed. Using high-precision remote sensing image as the working base map, the relevant positioning information is obtained from the GPS receiver, and the positioning points are imported into the calibrated remote sensing image, and the road is extracted from the remote sensing image to realize map matching, so as to achieve the purpose of vehicle navigation. The research results show that the map matching algorithm of vehicle navigation system based on remote sensing image processing has a high accuracy of road selection. With the map matching algorithm proposed in this paper, the matching efficiency is high, the driving skills are also improved, and the corner of the vehicle becomes more stable. Simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed learning algorithm.
