The design and the realization of a planar six-port netvork, which satisfies Engen's criteria, in embedding dielectric waveguides at 8mm bands are described. The skills of resolving nonlinear equations, the improvement on dielectric coupler design and the proper structure of phase shifter are also discussed. Preliminary results showed that the performance of the six-port network built by the authors is satisfactory.
