A novel approach for controlling the adsorption-desorption processes on the surface of organic molecular crystals as sensitive layers for cross-selective sensor array are investigated. The approach demonstrated for QCM sensors covered by thin films of various phthalocyanines (CuPc, PbPc and H/sub 2/Pc) illuminated in the visible and infrared region. The possible ways of utilizing of the proposed approach for the analysis of multicomponent chemical mixtures are discussed.
