This paper reports on a way to study coherent synchrotron radiation, and creates an opportunity for tuning the THz emission specifically for the needs of a given experiment. Describe a technique which allows the terahertz pulse to be tailored by appropriate modulation of the laser pulse. This type of technology enables coherent control experiments using this coherent THz source.
