With the revolution of automotive electrification and intelligent technology, automotive chassis has also undergone a technological transformation from traditional chassis, electric chassis, to intelligent chassis. The intelligent chassis for autonomous vehicle provides a bearing platform for auto drive system, cockpit system and power system. The chassis will realize subsystem redundancy, distributed drive structure and highly integrated control of all systems. This article focuses on the design of intelligent wire controlled chassis systems, critical dynamic state estimation, trajectory tracking and stability collaborative control, actuator fault detection and fault-tolerant control issues. This article determines the architecture and overall design scheme of the distributed independent drive intelligent wire controlled chassis experimental platform based on the design objectives, establishes the CAN bus application layer communication protocol for the entire vehicle, and uses the CAN bus as the communication medium to connect the entire vehicle controller and the underlying execution components. This article determines the software architecture design of the vehicle controller for a distributed four wheel independent drive experimental platform vehicle. Using Matlab Simulink to establish a vehicle control model, mainly including the Rapid ECU Setting module and System_ Init module, EEPROM Enable module, and control model. The control model mainly includes the input, processing, and output of all sensors. This article establishes a CAN bus application layer communication protocol for the entire vehicle, using CAN bus as the communication medium to connect the vehicle controller and the underlying execution components. And during the software design process of the chassis domain controller, the key data collection and recording functions of the sensors were reserved.
