From the perspectives of energy consumption efficiency and coordination, we discuss the relationships among the Guangdong transportation energy consumption, turnover, and the added value. Based on the calculations of the energy consumption efficiency transportation turnover and the added value, the results show that, the Guangdong transportation energy consumption efficiency is below the national average, and the transportation energy consumption is below the average of the entire province national economy industry. Using the coupling model to analysis the coordination of Guangdong transportation energy consumption, turnover, and the added value, the results show that, the most corresponding yearly data are disharmonious. Accordingly, optimizing transport structure, implementing traffic science and technology innovation, and improving the transportation organization management are recommended to improve the efficiency of transportation energy consumption, which enable the coordinated development of the transport energy consumption and turnover, as well as the coordinated development of transport energy consumption and added value.
