Space missions regularly employ magnetic field instruments, which rely on magnetic cleanliness of the spacecraft [1]. We developed a software tool to compile a DC magnetic model and to predict far-field magnetic fields generated by the spacecraft [2]: units and components of the spacecraft are represented by remanent and induced magnetic dipole moments which can be obtained from measurements, derived by analysis, or estimated by heritage from previous missions. We will show preliminary comparisons of DC model predictions with measurement data obtained during test campaigns of a spacecraft for ESA's Swarm mission [6].
