• We proposed a novel technique capable of generating missing software life cycle data in order to meet DO-178C objectives. • We use reverse engineering methodologies to minimize certification cost and effort while maximizing the usage of existing resources. • We validated that the certification process with our technique is faster than developing certified project from scratch. • In the future, we plan to automate some steps by using some approaches and tools, e.g., generating test cases from existing source code and developed requirements. • Also, we will complete certification process of Embedded C++ library.
