Compared with traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) contain more parts and more complex structure. The fuel cell stacks, on-board hydrogen systems, air supply systems, etc. are more susceptible to environmental, road conditions, driving conditions and other factors, resulting in performance degradation. This paper analyzes the possible performance degradation of the key components of FCVs when driving on load and the reasons, for providing reference for the improvement of the reliability and durability of FCVs.
