In the modern world, transportation is important to the growth of society. Studies indicate that sleepy drivers who need a break are to blame for about a quarter of all serious motorway injuries and deaths, suggesting that drowsy driving causes more deaths and injuries than drunk driving. Most road accidents are caused by tired drivers. To avoid these accidents, we created a "Driver drowsiness detection using Artificial Intelligence." Drowsiness detection is a system that combines Python, OpenCV, and Arduino to notify the driver of his drowsiness via a buzzer. In this detecting program, the number of yawns and head posture is used. This gadget also measures alcohol consumption. The relay circuit will stop the driver from operating a vehicle if they have consumed alcohol. As part of AI, activities like learning, problem-solving, and reasoning that are related to human intelligence are being created on computers. This project discusses the many artificial detecting techniques for determining a driver’s drowsy processing mechanism. In order to prevent road accidents, this technology makes use of facial image processing to warn drivers when they are drowsy or distracted.
