With the construction of inland river bridges, the frequency of ship-bridge collision accidents has gradually increased. However, there are few algorithms for risk identification of ships and bridges. The reason is that there are many types of bridges and ships, which leads to the lack of universality of the algorithms. The ship domain plays an important role in the navigation safety risk assessment, and there are relatively few practical researches and certifications on the application of ships in dealing with ship-bridge relationships. This paper uses AIS historical data to fit the boundaries of the ship domain, thereby constructing a variety of tonnage ship domains, and combining the Kunzi model, proposes a Kunzi model ship bridge collision risk model based on the ship domain, which is helpful to The assessment of the collision risk between the ship and assists bridge staff to send early warning information to the ship in time. This paper conducts experimental research in the waters of Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and Erqi Yangtze River Bridge. The results show that the size of the ship domain is highly related to the tonnage and speed of the ship. Different ships domains can greatly improve the collision risk assessment accuracy of Kunzi model, and collision risk analysis can effectively predict the degree of ship collision risk, which is of great significance to the active collision avoidance of bridges.
