This paper proposes a hierarchical method to deal with the multi-pose face recognition problem. The Local Binary Pattern (LBP) feature is used as the uniform feature throughout the two-hierarchy process. Also, a new method, named Multi-expert Intelligent Decision System, is proposed to improve the performance of the pose estimation process. According to the experiments, the method is proved to be efficient and robust.
