In the transportation field, there are so many paper documents to be maintained for each and every vehicle. Every vehicle owner needs to carry all the updated documents of a vehicle with them while driving on public roadways. But it is very difficult for a person to carry all the vehicle documents such as RC book, insurance details, and more along with them always. There is also a problem of theft of those documents or the documents may be lost or damaged due to weather conditions or as time passes. If the driver forgets to take any one of those documents, he will need to give heavy fines. Through this project “Automated Vehicle Identity Verification & Tracking”, all the documents of a vehicle can be accessed electronically using an RFID chip embedded in the vehicle. The chip contains an identification number to uniquely identify each vehicle, and with the help of a special reading device, using the identification number documents of the vehicle can be retrieved. The reader is connected to a secure server which stores all the vehicle documents and fetches all the information about the vehicle like RC book, owner details, smoke test details, and more and displays on the reader's display. The user will also get a notification about the expiration of each of the documents to their contact number. The chip can also be used to track stolen vehicles by the authorities.
