This research aims to explain the levels, technologies used, and the impacts and concerns related to the introduction of autonomous vehicles in India. Classification using deep learning and neural networks was done to categorize the collected data into 46 classes of which 43 consist of different road signs and the other 3 namely; unmetalled roads, potholes, and illegal parking. Our research is put forward with an aim of appreciating the use of autonomous vehicles in developing countries like India.
