As one of largest greenhouse gas emitters in the world, the effort of China to reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission would be effective. A great achievement of GHG reduction is shown in Beijing during Beijing Olympic Games Vehicles. With some strict traffic management measures and development of public transit, modes of commuting trips changed during Beijing Olympic Games. In order to analyze emission of greenhouse gas, emission factor and trip structure were estimated. Emission factors were set based on reviews of others' works. And trip structure of commuting trips was evaluated both before and during Olympic Games by an investigation on the web site. The results showed ratios of private vehicles decreased, while public transit trips were increasing during Olympic Games. And the total emission reduction of GHG was calculated.
