• Tracked HASS with ADS-B Out (modified 1090MHz) entire flight • Balloon gondola also had ADS-B Out and was tracked separately to landing location • Also tracked by transponder • Up to 60Kft in ascent and from 60Kft on descent (as expected) • Transponder data agreed well with ADS-B data • ADS-B messages had only pressure altitude with GPS altitude as n/a; GPS lat/long in messages was as expected • Had GPS lat/long and altitude in telemetry from vehicle • Had ground tested payload successfully in thermal vacuum chamber with GPS simulator
