Aiming at the energy management of grid-connected mode microgrids considering electric vehicles (EVs) and photovoltaic (PV)-energy storage, an energy management strategy was proposed. An energy management model was built to reduce the operating costs; the modified Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO) based on Genetic Algorithm was used to solve it. And for this study, the energy characteristics and method of power calculation of EVs were researched. Finally, the simulations of an example showed that the proposed energy management strategy not only reduced the operating costs but also help to improve the operation situation of microgrid.
