The paper presents two new methods in the field of metrology for monitoring the technical condition of a military aircraft in terms of operational availability. The IMUMETER device contains a set of sensors enabling the analysis of the aircraft’s motion dynamics, while the blind signal separation method results in a set of data useful for diagnostics and monitoring. The combination of both methods can result in a new tool, useful in monitoring the technical condition and as support for expert systems.
