Solar PV systems involve the direct conversion of sunlight into electrical energy which doesn’t create any environmental impact. In recent years it has been noticed that EV usage was increasing in the market and charging these vehicle becoming the challenging task for the commuter. In recent years cost of the PV plant also getting reduced and it has been proved to be a cost-effective method for generating electricity. The main objectives of this paper to design HRE (Hybrid renewable Sources) consist of solar and Bio mass resources to meet the energy requirement of EV charging and to reduce grid dependency to greater extent. This research paper going to find out the optimum capacity of PV plant and Bio mass based generator. PV plant that can be installed in the roof top of building which will be exclusively used only for charging the EV. In this paper we considered that number of employee using the EV vehicles is 80 Nos in that 40 Nos using EV-four Wheeler (4W) and remaining 40 Nos using EV-two wheeler (2W). The Employee of company is having minimum one two wheeler and one four wheeler which is basically powered by electric supply and from results we found that 100% of vehicles can be charged from HRE sources with least COE is Rs 1.18 and same vehicle if it is charged from the conventional grid supply COE is Rs 4 which is almost 30% higher cost as compared with HRE. If the vehicle is charged from hybrid renewable sources (HRE) 30% energy cost can be saved instead of charging from grid supply. The Complete analysis of the system in terms of reliability and cost is carried out using Homer Pro.
