Features of equilibrium condition of an electrodynamic two bodies tether of small mass are investigated in near-polar orbit. Change of such characteristic parameters, as tension of the tether, radius of its curvature, angle of deviation from the orbital plane, induced e.m.f. and others is traced during the day. The problem duration of lifetime of the tether in a near-earth circular orbit is considered.
