Information flow simulation is an important tool for information transmission and routing design of launch vehicles. An information flow simulation design method is presented in this paper, which features simpler framework and higher efficiency with compared to commonly used methods. Firstly, the launch mission is divided into different mission profiles. Then the generation and transmission of information are simulated on each mission profile. All the possibilities of routing are included in simulation and the failures can be injected according to failure rate of instruments. A multi-index comprehensive evaluation method is finally proposed based on neural network technique, which combines the advantages of both subjective and objective weighting methods. The effectiveness and high reliability of the presented design method is demonstrated based on the experimental results on certain solid-fuel launch vehicle.
