Abrasion is a significant issue not only in the automobile industry, but also in the field of aircraft tires.Manufacturers of aviation tires set standards for the amount of wear that can be tolerated. The tire must be replaced or retreaded if these restrictions are exceeded. The tire should be able to resist as many take-off and landing cycles as feasible until then. In pre-flight modeling, abrasion models should aid in predicting wear behavior. The weight loss of the rubber sample is measured at various pressures and sliding speeds to evaluate abrasion. During an unsteady load, tire wear is measured.
