With the development of communications-related intelligent transport applications, intelligent and connected vehicles (ICVs) can more efficiently solve the problems brought by the rapid growth of road traffic, but it also introduces severe cyber security problems. In this paper, we take platoon, an intelligent transport application of ICVs, to analyze the impact of cyber attacks. Firstly we proposed an attack simulation and analysis framework, then many rigorous tests on a simulated platoon were executed, which using four types of attack model, finally the analysis results was shown. Analysis results show that security attacks can cause serious impact on platoon, and different type of attacks can disturb platoon randomly or regularly, but after the attack platoon can restore to normal which shows the system resilience.
