Free space optical communication is needed to realize 10Gbps capacity of communication. However, especially in satellite to ground optical communications, cloud shielding is one of the big problems because it degrades communication quality. To know cloud distribution for selecting the region of no cloud, we propose the site diversity system with cloud monitor. In this paper, we discuss about camera parameters, which can correspond to any locations in Japan and finally we acquire cloud figures at all time.
