The Advanced Cruise-Assist Highway System (AHS) is a system which detects, recognizes the road traffic environment, feeds back them to drivers in real time in the shape such as an information offer control assist, and automated driving. In development of a system that presumably involves numerous and large-scale services as in AHS, system architecture must be developed to ensure integrated and efficient system construction and to promote greater cost reduction and standardization. This report describes the examination result of AHS system architecture.
