A confocal microscope is a modern tool of cell biology that allows carrying out the investigations of different aspects of plant cell behavior both in the control and under the influence of external agents on the high scientific level. The confocal laser microscope with the appropriate software is designed for studying intracellular calcium localization, actin and tubulin cytoskeleton, nucleus and nucleolus, cell enzyme distribution. As a result, it leads to the complete and thorough understanding of the processes occurring in a cell and a creation of the general picture of structural organization and functions of the different cells under the normal conditions as well as the influence of various environmental factors.
