The dynamics of the model used for the design and simulation of a flexible aerospace vehicle differs from the actual system due to dynamic perturbations. The changes in parameters of the vehicle during the flight duration could lead to failure in the control system if ignored during the initial stage of the controller design. The ability of a designed control system to maintain it performance and stability characteristics under the effect of all types of influences is a major concern for controller-design engineers. This paper presents the robust controller design and simulation for a flexible sounding rocket.
