Urban Comprehensive Passenger Transportation Hubs (UCPTH) as highly-concentrated passenger distribution sites, in which the forecast of passengers transfer between various modes of transportation provides important basis for the planning of transfer facilities. However, the mode of transportation chosen for going-out by the means of transfer within the city is different from the mode suitable for the general going-out within the city for passengers carried from outside to Urban Comprehensive Passenger Transportation Hubs. Therefore, the characteristic difference about the predication of transfer volume should be taken into consideration. For this purpose, based on the analysis of going-out by the means of transfer and the general going-out within the city, prediction method of transfer volume in Urban Comprehensive Passenger Transportation Hubs grounded on the categorization of passengers is set up.
