This paper studies the encryption approach for satellite images that have bulk size. The proposed approach in the paper is based on the chaotic Baker map. The improvement on image permutation and key selection are proposed, which achieves high encryption efficiency. Different rounds of iterations are proposed use different cipher key results in a wide range of ciphering key space. Simulation and statistic analysis show that this approach works well.
