Over the years, computer science has facilitated the design of mathematical models that describe natural phenomena with high accuracy. Among the successful stories, mathematical models predict the rate of increase in weight of aquaculture specimens. However, the current feed dosage proposals have poor performance, jeopardizing the sustainability of this commercial activity. Therefore, this work proposes, via simulation, the identification of a case study of a tilapia breeding farm in the state of Colima and the design, implementation, and validation of an error minimization method for identifying the feed dosing rate as a function of time. The proposed analytical method proved to be a competitive tool concerning stochastic and analytical strategies.
