This research presents a novel methodology aimed at minimizing response time in train emergency braking systems, thereby enhancing overall railway safety. Conventional braking systems rely on a sequential communication process wherein emergency commands are transmitted from the control centre to the locomotive pilot before execution. This process introduces an inherent delay, increasing the likelihood of miscommunication and reducing the effectiveness of emergency interventions. The proposed system seeks to address these limitations by integrating a real-time communication framework that establishes a direct interface between the control centre and the train's braking mechanism. By enabling instantaneous transmission of emergency braking commands, this approach eliminates the dependence on intermediary relay processes, thereby significantly reducing response times and improving safety outcomes. This study examines the feasibility, implementation challenges, and potential impact of the proposed system in redefining railway safety protocols. The findings underscore the importance of real-time communication in mitigating risks associated with delayed braking responses, offering a transformative solution to enhance railway accident prevention strategies.
