Poly(ethylenedioxy-substituted terthiophene - fullerene) was electrochemically synthesized on an ITO electrode, and its electronic and optical properties were measured. A large photocurrent of more than 3 μA/cm2was observed by irradiation at 50 mW/cm2with a halogen lamp using a wet cell containing 5 mM methyl viologen.
