The transmittance spectrum along c axis of the BaF2:PbWO4 crystal expressed the higher transmittance than that of pure PbWO4 crystal. The luminescence intensity of the peak at 400450nm in X-ray excited luminescence spectrum of the BaF2:PbWO4 crystal was increased significantly, about 2 times higher than that of pure PbWO4.
