The nonlinear dynamic simulation model consists of eight cars, which considered coupler draft gears were the three-dimension coupling train systems. In this paper, we set up conditions of simulation according to the actual situation of the EMU depot lines. Study on the effects of calculation conditions such as curve versine deviation, track geometry defects, gauge-widen on wheel climb derailment of EMU on the small radius of curve. Results show that the fifth car has poor derailment safety due to lighter. The versine deviation, track geometry defects and gauge-widen have great impacts on wheel climb derailment of EMU, so we should strictly control the line quality, try to avoid the superposition of variety of adverse working conditions, otherwise it will lead to the increased possibility of derailment.
