Inventory management involves overseeing and controlling goods flow, ensuring availability, and minimizing costs. Effective management improves efficiency, reduces expenses, and increases profitability while meeting customer demand and satisfaction. This study aims to develop an automatic warehouse management system for the chemical and textile industry. It utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, revolutionizing warehouse management by providing real-time tracking and inventory management. RFID enables automatic identification without line-of-sight scanning, increasing efficiency and accuracy. Tagged items are continuously tracked, ensuring real-time visibility and faster order fulfilment. RFID automates inventory management, reducing manual counting and errors, improving accuracy, reducing stock-outs, and enhancing order fulfilment rates. It also improves supply chain visibility, reducing delays, and improving efficiency. RFID technology offers significant advantages over barcode scanning, including efficiency, accuracy, and supply chain visibility. Thus, RFID is increasingly popular for warehouse management in various industries, providing substantial benefits.
