• Near real-time responsiveness of the demonstrator proofs its feasibility for piloting RPAs • Situation awareness improvements over video-driven monitoring systems: — immunity to unfavorable illumination / weather conditions — freedom of point of view — low data bandwidth consumption (telemetry link) — real-time air traffic integration • Flight Intent corridors facilitate the pilots work and reduce the need for ATC intervention • These features will increase the acceptance levels of RPA/UAS operations into future NextGen/SESAR regulatory frameworks.
