This paper presented a micro-simulation method on estimating the capacity of roundabouts. First, five related factors were tested in the VISSIM model. Then, four out of five factors that show significant correlation with the capacity were chosen for calibrating the Capacity Correction Coefficient. Finally, the results were compared with other studies, showing that the revised model had the smallest relative error. In sum, these findings are helpful for the planning and management of roundabouts.
