Air-to-ground missile (AGM) is launched in the complicated environment with strong interaction and combined perturbation, and the compatibility between helicopter and missile is an important technical problem. On the basis of the typical launching condition a simulation and analysis method of the compatibility between helicopter and missile is proposed. Study focuses on the effects on the missile aerodynamics and the launch dynamics, which brought by the helicopter down-wash flow and the attacking mode. The launch dynamics model and relative kinematics model are derived. Based on the six degree of freedom (6DOF) model of the missile and the engineering practice, the launching envelope is simulated. The simulation results show that the helicopter down-wash flow and the attacking mode have effects on the initial trajectory of the missile and under the perturbation condition presented the launch of the missile has no risk on the rotor and the body of the helicopter.
