As automotive technology advances, ensuring the well-being of drivers becomes increasingly essential. The Driver Health Monitor introduces a pioneering concept focused on monitoring and enhancing cabin air quality to safeguard driver health and safety. This article presents a comprehensive guide to the design and implementation of this innovative system, encompassing key components such as a state-of-the-art air generator, an electrically powered bed for air purification, specialized gasoline sensors for real-time carbon and nitrogen detection, and seamless integration of a Wi-Fi module for continuous monitoring and control. The system is fully automated (including door opening and closing, automatic lights, and a fan on when people enter the cabin), so there is a 0% risk of virus attack. The system continuously detects the heart rate of the driver, and if it increases or decreases by normal, it directly sends an alert to the driver’s leader via mail or telegram. The accuracy of the system depends on sensors (calibration error, weather). In good weather, the system’s accuracy, including all subsystems (automatic cabin features, health care system, and alert system), is 83%.
