In today's immensely competitive atmosphere, an effective Electric Vehicle (EV) assembly process is crucial for the success of the automobile industry. The present study aims to provide a novel approach by integrating real-time data analytics to identify and rank the barriers. Through an exhaustive literature survey, four main barriers affecting the assembly process were identified: transportation and handling, assembly line processing, EV assembly integration, and human resources and training. To enhance the evaluation and ranking process, this paper proposes a methodology using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method (TOPSIS). By incorporating real-time data, this approach offers a more accurate and dynamic assessment of the barriers. The findings of this study provide important insights for decision-makers in the automobile industry to prioritize improvement efforts and allocate resources effectively towards overcoming the identified barriers for successful EV assembly.
