Air traffic controller is an important part of the civil aviation transportation industry. With the rapid increase of civil aviation transportation and air traffic flow in our country, the work pressure on air traffic controllers is increasing. The research on its workload is directly related to the safety of airspace, optimization of the sector, evaluation of sector capacity, and controller assignment. In this paper, the author first summarizes the status quo of the research on the load of the control staff, then introduces the definition of the load of the control staff and the advantages and disadvantages of the "double post system" of the work of the control staff.
