We proposed an optical microphone array using fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs). Deformation of the diaphragm was transformed to the modulation in the center wavelength of the FBG. We demonstrated, the WDM operation of a four-element array microphone as well as the performances of the element microphone such as frequency response, linearity and sensitivity. To realize a simultaneous measurement for a large number of elements, the development of a special WDM detection system is required.
