The potential of ADAS to improve road safety and minimise accidents has garnered a lot of interest in recent years. Although ADAS have largely been studied for their potential benefits to motorists, it is crucial that we also examine their potential effects on pedestrians. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect that ADAS technologies have on pedestrian safety by looking at their individual parts, their implementation in automobiles, and the pros and cons of using them. To evaluate the impact of ADAS on pedestrian safety, the researchers combined statistical analysis with field studies and simulations.
