This paper introduced and studied the passenger oxygen supply methods of civil aircraft, analyzed and demonstrated that the pulse air oxygen method does not meet the airworthiness requirement, proposed to bring forward the equivalent verification of the airworthiness requirement based on blood oxygen saturation, and a feasible test method based on the theoretical analysis of blood saturation. First, it introduced and studied the minimum supplemental oxygen flow rate required by CCAR25 airworthiness regulation. Second, it introduced and studied the blood oxygen saturation level with the same oxygen supply effect as the theoretical value of tracheal oxygen partial pressure of 133.3hPa and 111.7hPa is 92% and 85%, respectively by theoretical analysis and test. Last, it introduced and studied the pulse oxygen flow rate is much smaller than the continuous oxygen flow rate by test. It provided effective technical support for the airworthiness certification of pulse air oxygen technology in civil aviation.
