• Presentation of a new approach to assist in the onboard passenger safety of commercial aircraft in the event of an emergency scenario. - Feasible trajectories were generated by concatenating common aircraft flight maneuvers formed through the application of MA theory. - Aircraft safety was demonstrated through the application of safe state theory to 3D partially known environments. • The inclusion of a minimum FPW constraint provided a additional time to veto onboard decisions - potentially allows the aircraft operate at a higher level of autonomy during the emergency scenario
