This paper presents a vision chip for laser spot detection. The sensor has an architecture that comprises a 64 × 64 pixel array with a pixel pitch of 38.6 μm × 30.8 μm and fill factor of 30% and two position processors that deliver coordinate position for both axes. Under maximum speed condition, power consumption was 103 mW, where maximum frame rate was 870000 frames per second. The maximum mismatch between pixels was 3% and maximum position accuracy was 0.013(2Δx).
