In this study, a probabilistic method is employed for the structural assessment of the solid propellants subjected to ignition pressure loading. Maximum stress and strain values induced on the propellant is are computed by performing finite element analyses. Elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio parameters of the motor case and propellant are selected as probabilistic variables and a design of experiment (DOE)study is carried out in order to evaluate the effects of these properties on the maximum stress and maximum strain values. By using first order Taylor series approximation, probabilistic sensitivities of the Elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio and capacity parameters on the limit state functions are investigated.
