The photon storage ring (PhSR) lasing mechanism is studied experimentally. We have observed 2 V peak output from PhSR by MCT detector. In general, output decreases by the electron beam lifetime in the storage ring. After the radiation damping, however, when the injected beam current is sufficiently large we observe output increase. This phenomenon occurs when the circular mirror is installed around the circular electron orbit. We conclude that we have observed the first lasing of PhSR.
