Ship transportation plays an important role in global transportation, and the safety and stability of the ship's power system is an important guarantee for the safety of ship transportation. Based on the development of large-scale and multi-functional ships, a power station automation control system with high reliability and complete functions is designed. Based on the actual load situation and operating requirements of a certain electric ship, the paper designs and establishes the radial and ring power network topologies of the ship, and then applies the PSAT power system analysis software to switch heavy loads on these two power grid topologies. The transient stability during the two processes of the short-circuit fault and the short-circuit fault are compared and analyzed. The simulation results show that the ring network topology has a stronger ability to supply power to the starboard and the starboard under the fault.
