With the increasing global focus on electric vehicles, requirement of electric vehicle charging infrastructure has become imperative. Green electric vehicle (GEV) charging station is designed for recharging electric vehicles using environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient technologies. This paper presents a study on the modeling and simulation of GEV charging station. MATLAB simulation model assembles for the GEV charging station. The proposed methodology consists of a photovoltaic array, stationary storage battery, electric vehicle charging station battery and power grid.
